DRAWINGS

All of the images in this section are drawings either in soft pencil or mostly Conte drawings. The Conte pencil is softer than a conventional pencil but harder than a pastel and I particularly enjoy using this medium. The colours are soft and natural since no artificial pigments are used so there is only a small range of earthy browns, whites (chalk) and black (charcoal) but these suit pictures of horses and other animals perfectly. I love the textured result which comes from a combination of the pencil and the chosen paper.

Some of the originals are available and nearly all of them can be purchased from a limited edition of prints, mostly using the Giclee process. This process of reproduction particularly suits the drawings and retains
much of their original softness and texture. All of the reproductions of the drawings on a quality art paper (stretched canvases are not suitable).

FRAMING

The prints all have a white border and are individually numbered and signed. They can be purchased with either a single or a double mount (showing a darker inner edge), cellophane wrapped and ready to frame.

Alternatively, I can organise framing for you but please contact me to discuss your budget and preferredstyle of moulding. All framing costs are additional to the prices of the original pictures and prints as shown and once framed they will be delivered by courier. When not mounted the prints are sent by guaranteed postal delivery in wide, strong tubes, but once mounted the packages are sent flat packed.
